Smart Workflows to Add Captions & Subtitles to Live Broadcasts

Videolinq provides real-time captions in multiple languages. Its integrated Editor allows production teams to improve caption accuracy instantly, ensuring better accuracy and smooth distribution to multiple video platforms.

Case 1: Default End-to-End Solutions

Using Media Suite, add captions or subtitles to a live broadcast. Here is how it works:

  1. Connect to Videolinq a single-camera or multi-camera output via a mixer and an RTMP/SRT encoder, an online meeting with an RTMP output, or a recorded file (or files in a playlist).

  2. Configure a channel with a video source and destinations.

  3. Videolinq extracts the audio from the video and creates captions/subtitles. Optional: use a human captioner (CART operator) to insert highly accurate captions to the stream.

  4. The live stream with captions/subtitles is distributed simultaneously to social media, other video platforms, the Videolinq player, or to your own player

Case 2: Captions for In-House Video Production

This option provides flexibility and control over the video/captions output:

  1. Connect to Videolinq and configure a video signal as source

  2. Videolinq will only be used to generate captions/subtitles. Use one channel to create multiple outputs in various languages.

  3. Videolinq extracts the audio from the video and creates captions/subtitles.

  4. Pull the data feed with subtitles from Videolinq.

  5. Manage the incoming data and inject it into your video platform

  6. Captions/subtitles appear on your video player.
