As 2024 comes to a close, we are filled with pride as we reflect on the incredible milestones achieved at Videolinq this year!
Here’s a snapshot of what made this year truly remarkable:
April: We helped Jackshoot bring real-time closed captioning to the BAFTA Gaming Awards, elevating accessibility and engagement for audiences worldwide.
🇫🇷 Later in April, Videolinq was honored to be among the talented 32 startups selected by SCALE AI Canada's AI Global Innovation Cluster to represent Canada at VivaTech in Paris, a powerful moment showcasing Canadian innovation on a global stage.
June: At the Collision Conference in Toronto, we unveiled our instant subtitles for live broadcasts, receiving fantastic feedback from investors and customers.
September: Videolinq made waves at the new AI Tech Zone at IBC - International Broadcasting Convention in Amsterdam, where we demonstrated practical workflows for adding CEA-608 captions to RTMP live streams.
The next month, we expanded into MENA and participated in GITEX in Dubai. The overwhelming response from customers and partners solidified Videolinq as a go-to solution for automated captions, subtitles, and transcripts for live broadcasts.
November: We were thrilled to be finalists in the Streaming Media Magazine Reader Choice Awards for Automated Closed Captioning, a testament to the hard work and innovation of our team.
To cap off 2024, we officially launched the Videolinq API 4.0, offering our customers complete programmatic platform control in a true white-glove solution tailored to their needs.
